President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has departed Abuja for the United Kingdom for a two-week vacation, part of his yearly leave.
The president departed through the Nnamdi Azikiwe international airport at about 2:30 p.m, this Wednesday.
Secretary to the government of the federation, George Akume and Chief of staff, Femi Gbajabiamila were among the top government functionaries who bade the president farewell.
A statement by the presidential adviser on information and strategy, Bayo Onanuga indicates that the president will spend the two weeks as a working vacation and a retreat to reflect on his administration’s economic reforms.
He is expected to return after the leave expires.
