Report from Kano, North West Nigeria says, a student of Faculty of Agriculture, Bayero University, Kano, Kudirat Oyiza Abdulkarim has emerged the overall best graduating student of the year.
Kudirat scored a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.92 out of 5.00 to emerge the best.
Our Correspondent reports that the announcement was made at the Convocation Arena where the 39th Convocation ceremony of the University is taking place.
Kudirat attributed her exceptional feat to her quest for “excellence through unwavering sacrifice, commitment and determination”.
She added that her journey towards this milestone began in Level 100 where she worked assiduously to graduate as the best Student with a distinction.
Her words “It was never an easy road, but I remained focused, dedicated, and consistent. Today, my dream has become a reality,”
She expressed optimism in furthering her studies in order to contribute to knowledge through research in Agricultural development.
Kudirat expressed deep appreciation to Almighty Allah, her lecturers, and her parents for their immense support, acknowledging that their encouragement played a crucial role in her success.
