US President, Donald Trump, on Monday, reportedly commended Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia, describing him as a “wonderful young man” with a “keen vision” for the future.
Speaking at a joint press conference with French President Emmanuel Macron in Washington, Trump highlighted his personal admiration for the Saudi Leader and the Kingdom’s role in global affairs, according to Saudi Gazette.
“I met with him, and I think he’s a wonderful young man with a very keen vision,” Trump said.
“He’s implementing the King’s vision in an amazing way, and I am a friend to both of them,” Trump added.
Trump also praised the recent high-level talks between US and Russian delegations in Saudi Arabia, calling them “wonderful.”
When asked about the possibility of Russian President Vladimir Putin visiting Saudi Arabia, even without a resolution to the Ukraine conflict, Trump expressed optimism about the Kingdom’s growing role in international diplomacy.
