One can quote the scripture excellently to the admiration of all; one can claim to possess academic distinction, yet one has no light if one goes about with the garment of selfishness, envy, jealousy, hatred and covetousness which constitute darkness. Therefore, one is in the dark in spite of what one claims. Where there is light, darkness disappears; where there is light hatred gives way; where there is light jealousy steps aside; where there is light envy quits and where there is light covetousness is unknown. Where there is light compassion blossom. Lack of spiritual light makes many people wallow in ignorance and become gullible.
