Nollywood actress and producer Allwell Ademola has died.
She reportedly passed away at the age 43.
Ademola is said to have died on Saturday, December 27, 2025.
According to reports circulating in the film industry, she suffered a heart attack at her residence and was rushed to hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
The news has elicited shock and grief from many of her colleagues in Nollywood.
Actress Fathia Williams confirmed the development on Instagram, writing, “Haaaa. This hit me so bad. Eniobanke. Allahu Akbar.”
Actor Damola Olatunji also mourned her passing, sharing a candlelight photo with the caption, “Life is a mirage,” while popular actress Mide Martins posted a photo of Ademola on Facebook alongside a heartfelt tribute.
Actress Bidemi Kosoko reacted emotionally on Instagram, expressing disbelief at the news.
“No way. No, no, no. Ko possible ooo. This isn’t true. God forbid, in Jesus’ name. I refuse to accept this one Lai Lai. God forbid. Olorun oni je.
“Just reply to my message, abeg, oremi/aunty mi. I will wait patiently for your reply,” she wrote. – DP
