World-renowned Boxer, Anthony Joshua, has, on Saturday, reportedly involved in a road accident in Makun, Ogun State, South West Nigeria.
The accident happened just before Danco Filling Station in Makun, near the Sagamu Interchange on the Ibadan-bound axis of the road.
The vehicle carrying Joshua reportedly collided with another car under circumstances that are still being investigated.
According to the eyewitness, who reached out to journalist who was also part of the rescue mission, said Joshua sustained minor injuries, saying that two people died on the spot.
Fans have flooded social media with messages of concern, while local authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
Meanwhile, Ogun State Police Command spokesperson Oluseyi Babaseyi has confirmed the accident.
