Authorities of the Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, North central Nigeria, have approved the immediate withdrawal of the Higher National Diploma Certificate of AbdulRasheed Zubair Olatunji of the Public Administration Department of the institution.

The development followed his alleged involvement in Cultism.

This was contained in a Statement signed and issued and by the Deputy Registrar of the institution. Olayemi Olatomi, on Monday and made available to Newsmen in Ilorin.

The statement said the withdrawal of certificate was based on the report of the Polytechnic’s Students’ Disciplinary Committee.

The Management said AbdulRasheed’s involvement in Cultism showed that he was not worthy in character and learning to earn the certificate of the institution.

“Mobilisation of AbdulRasheed for the mandatory National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, has been put on hold,” the statement added.
