A first Baby has been delivered at the new additional Labor Ward opened at the Retainership Unit of the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, Kano, North West Nigeria.
A statement by the Public Relations Officer of the Hospital, Hauwa Muhammad Abdullahi, accessed by Nigerian Kicker said, the Labor Ward was opened recently to enable RetainerShip Clients access complete VIP services within the Unit.
The first male Baby, who reportedly weigh 4kg, was successfully delivered on Tuesday by a client.
Both mother and child were stable before they were discharged.
The Head of Retainership Unit, Dr Zainab Ibrahim, expressed appreciation on the development saying that the additional eight bedded Labor Wards will go a long way in reducing the queue on the demand for Amenity Rooms by the Clients.
