Renowned Mass Communication Professor at the Lagos State University (LASU), Lai Oso, has died in a road accident.
Dean, Faculty of Communication and Media Studies, FCMS, Lagos State University, Professor Sunday Alawode, confirmed Oso’s death.
Oso, reportedly died on Saturday evening when his car plunged into a river along Ijebu axis of Ogun State.
Report says, the Professor was returning to Lagos from Delta State University (DELSU), where he was an external examiner at the Department of Mass Communication.
The 67-year-old Oso was a Communication and Media Studies teacher at Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, from where he headed for Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye and later, the Lagos State University.
An author of many scholarly publications, Oso is survived by his wife and children.
