Report from Saudi Arabia says, the Royal Commission for AlUla Governorate has issued the list of local and foreign speakers and participants scheduled to participate in the first “AlUla World Archeology Summit”, which will be held from Sept. 13 to 15.

More than 80 speakers and 300 experts, as well as individuals interested in antiquities and cultural heritage are set to take part in the summit’s sessions and dialogues, alongside dozens of government and non-governmental institutions, international organizations and media practitioners.

The summit will focus on archaeology, which comes up with discoveries around the world.

It is one of the initiatives of the Royal Commission for AlUla, which is leading the process of comprehensive development of AlUla as a leading global destination of cultural and natural heritage.

The summit seeks to use the insights gained from cultural heritage and scientific progress to the benefit of humanity, which contributes to achieving the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

Speakers and participants will take part in exploratory trips to key heritage sites in AlUla, which will provide a global platform for scientific discussion and collaboration, as well as for tackling contemporary global archaeology issues to reach common visions and solutions inspired by cultural heritage.
