Kano Governorship Election Tribunal has declared Nasir Yusuf Gawuna of the APC as the winner of the 2023 Governorship Election in Kano.
The three man Tribunal headed by Justice Oluyemi Akintan-Osadebay gave the judgement this afternoon in Kano.
The Independent National Electoral Commission declared Abba Kabir Yusuf of the NNPP as the winner of the 18th March 2023 Governorship Election in Kano State, the result of which the APC challenged in the Tribunal.
Nigerian Kicker Correspondent reports that security was tight in and around the Miller Road Court premises, venue of the Tribunal, and other parts of Kano metropolitan area to forestall any breach of the peace.
The Tribunal had to resort to the use of Zoom satellite to deliver its judgement because of security.
