Nasarawa Polytechnic Bans Students’ Post-Exam Celebrations

Report from Lafia, capital of Nasarawa State, North Central Nigeria says, Management of Isa Mustapha Agwai I Polytechnic, Lafia, has banned graduating students from after-exam sign-out celebrations on campus.

This was made known to Daily Post via a circular signed by the school’s Public Relations Officer, Ali Hassan Mohammed.

According to the information, the ban is with immediate effect and will persist until further notice.

The circular said strict security measures have been put  in place to ensure compliance.

This decision was reached during an emergency management meeting held at the institution.

The management cited growing concerns over the bad conduct displayed by students during after-exam sign-out celebrations both within and outside the polytechnic’s premises.

The management further warned that any student found violating this ban would face expulsion from the institution.

  1. I wonder why I should celebrate extravagantly because I have finish exam.
    You dont finish exam untill you are working after graduation and retired after 60 yesrs.
    Are they celebrating that they will not write exam in their life time again.

    It’s good schools ban such act that is senseless.
