Maxillofacial Unit of Dental Department of Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, Kano, North West Nigeria, will present lecture on the Multidisciplinary Care of Patients with Cleft lip and Palate on Wednesday 25, October 2023 by 8:15 in the morning at the main Conference hall of the hospital.
Chairman of the AKTH CLEFT TEAM, Professor Efunkoya Akinwale disclosed this in statement by Hauwa Muhammad Abdullahi on behalf of Publicity sub committee on AKTH Free Cleft surgeries.
The statement invites members of the hospital community, the committee members, the Kano Community as well as the hospital catchment areas.
It further explained that the management and care for Patients with Cleft lip and palate is multidisciplinary as all hands must be on Deck to achieve the desired goal.
Prof . Efunkoya noted that the role of the Media in the dissemination of information about the existence of free cleft lip/palate surgery can not be over emphasized considering the Complex nature of the Nigerian societies.
