A member, Kano State House of Assembly Halilu Ibrahim Kundila, who representing Shanono/Bagwai State Constituency, has died.
A family source told Daily Post that the lawmaker, who distributed palliatives to his constituents last week, died at his residence late on Saturday night after falling sick earlier that evening.
He added that a funeral prayer was held for the 59-year-old member of All Progressives Congress, APC, on Sunday morning at Kundila, Shanono Local Government Area of Kano State.
He has been buried in his hometown Shanono, with hundreds of sympathizers attending the funeral.
Kundila is survived by four wives and 17 children.
