Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, says it will deploy 40,000 personnel to ensure adequate security across the country during the Eid el-Fitr celebration.
NSCDC Spokesperson, CSC Babawale Afolabi, disclosed this, on Monday in Abuja.
In a statement, Afolabi said, NSCDC Commandant General, Ahmed Audi, has ordered state commandants to deploy personnel to strategic locations and flash points.
“NSCDC will deploy both kinetic and non-kinetic approaches to nip in the bud all acts of criminalities before, during and after the Eid el-Fitr celebration in various states,” he said.
