Report from Lagos State says, a 7-storey building under construction has collapsed in Banana Island, at Ikoyi area of the State.
The incident reportedly happened on Wednesday around 3 pm the Punch reports.
It gathered that building caved in when some of the construction workers on site had closed for the day.
Some of them were, however, injured as a result of the incident.
Spokesperson for the Lagos Fire Service and Rescue Service, Amodu Shakiri, confirmed the incident.
“We got a call around 3:58 pm.
We are currently trying to ascertain the claim that no one was under the rubble,” he said.
