Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared the New Nigerian Peoples Party’s (NNPP) Governorship Candidate, Abba Kabir Yusuf as the winner of the Kano Governorship Election.
He polled a total of 1, 019, 602 votes, to defeat Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna of the All Progressives Party who scored 890, 705 votes, followed by Muhammad Sani Abacha of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) with 15, 957 votes.
Abba known as Abba Gida Gida was declared winner on Monday morning of 20th March, 2023.
