Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, South East Nigeria, Chinedum Orji, has been impeached.
Report says 18 out of the 24-members of the State Assembly on Tuesday morning signed for the Speaker’s impeachment.
Four of the members including Ginger Onwusibe, Solomon Akpulonu, Munachim Alozie and Kelechi Onuzuruike reportedly refused to sign.
His removal followed a motion moved by Chukwudi Apugo (Umuahia East), and seconded by Hon. Okey Igwe (PDP, Umunneochi).
