Former Managing Director of Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Arc Aminu Dabo, has extended his heartfelt condolences to the families of victims of Dambatta road mishap that claimed the lives of 9 individuals and many who sustained injuries.
The fatal accident reportedly occurred on Saturday evening around Gada, a border town between Jigawa and Kano States, virtually some kilometres from Dambatta as the victims were on their way back home from Katsina after attending a wedding ceremony.
A statement by Head, PR & Publicity to Arc. Dabo, Abdullahi Usman says, Arc Aminu Dabo, who is one of the high ranking stakeholders in the area and Proprietor of twins Colleges of Health Sciences (AD-CONS and AD-COHST), described the tragedy as a very heartbreaking, touching and painful, urging people to pray for the deceased as well as speedy recovery for those who sustained injuries.
He also, on behalf of the integrated Aminu Dabo entire Colleges communities, extended his deepest sympathies with the families and all those affected by the accident.
“May Allah SWT have mercy on the deceased and give their loved ones the strength and courage to endure this great tragedy,” he prayed.
Meanwhile, on Sunday morning, the mass funeral prayers and burial rites of the deceased were held in Dambatta town.
