The Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Saliu Akanmu Adetunji is dead.
Reports say the royal father died in the early hours of Sunday.
Oba Adetunji ruled over 11 local government areas that make up of Ibadan.
Sources at the Olubadan palace say the monarch died at the University College Hospital, Ibadan.
