Report from Buckingham Palace, London says, King Charles III will be crowned at London’s Westminster Abbey next May.
Buckingham Palace reportedly disclosed this on Tuesday in a press release.
It said the King will be crowned in a service that will retain some historical elements of past coronations but also recognize the spirit of the times.
For the last 900 years the ceremony had taken place at Westminster Abbey, and had almost always been conducted by the Archbishop of Canterbury since 1066. – Agencies
