Late former Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari, will be buried in his hometown, Daura, Katsina State, North West Nigeria.
According to TVC, Buhari will be laid to rest tomorrow, Monday, in Daura.
Buhari died at a clinic in London, where he was receiving treatment for an undisclosed illness, at 4:30 pm on Sunday.
His former media spokesman, Garba Shehu, disclosed this via X on Sunday.
Meanwhile, President Bola Tinubu, who mourned the passing of his predecessor, has dispatched Vice President Kashim Shettima to London.
The President has also directed Shettima to accompany Buhari’s corpse back to Nigeria for burial.
Tinubu has announced seven days of mourning to honour the former President Muhammadu Buhari.
