COCIN Church Advises Nigerians To Shun Inducible Offers From Politicians

Church of Christ in Nations, COCIN LCC TWANCHIK, RCC Hwolshe in Jos, has advised Nigerians to shun inducible offers from Politicians come 2023 General Elections in the country.

Leading Pastor of the Church, Rev. Dung Pam Rwang, gave the charge on Sunday during the Church’s 2022 Thanksgiving Service.

“Believers should demonstrate steadfastness. Don’t compromise for little tokens that Politicians will offer to buy you for a span of 4/8years.

“Believers should vet and elect leaders that are capable and able,” he said.

Rwang, encouraged them to get involved in politics saying, it was fallacy that politics is an unclean activities.

Taking his text earlier from (Malachi 2:10), the Pastor encouraged believers to remain committed in serving God in all situations and cultivate the habit of given thanks to Him.

He later announced a 40-day prayer and fasting for members of the Church early 2023.

Guest Preacher, Rev. Hosea .N. Mallam, who read from (2Sam24:18-24), said God accepts sacrifices that genuinely come from the heart.

Our Correspondent reports that the highlights of the activities was the presentation of song rendition from Choir, CWF, Men fellowship and Church band while Sunday school Children walked  in  procession.
