COCIN Church Hwolshe, Jos Organises Send-off For Rev. Dung

Members of COCIN LCC Twanchik, RCC Hwolshe in Jos, Plateau State, North Central Nigeria, on Sunday organised a Send-off Prayers for Rev. Dung P. Rwang.

Our Correspondent reports that Rev. Dung p. Rwang, who has served the Church since 2021 to date is now transferred to COCIN LCC Kwini in Bokkos LGA of the State as a Leading Reverend.

Addressing the audience, the Chief Host Rev. Bulus. C. Datiri, said obeying the precepts of God is amongst the cardinal objectives in bringing peace in the Land.

“We can’t obey God if we don’t know His word. It is pertinent and imperative for believers to be filled with the word of God,” he said.

While welcoming visitors who came from far and near to grace the occasion he admonished them to open their hearts and do the Will of God for his Servant who served the the Church from 2021-2022.

He prayed for his safe journey to his new Command.

Datiri also delivered a brief and sententious sermon on the themed: how to start a Ministry and finishing strong.

Taking from 2Timothy4:6-8, Datiri highlighted four Important principles on finishing strong in the ministry to include Living a sacrificial life, Self Evaluation, Being a perfect example for others, and fixing eyes on the future awarding glory.

“Giving to a man of God attracts all round blessings. A generous person will prosper, and whoever refreshes others will be likewise refreshed,” he admonished.

In their Thanksgivings/Remarks, Rev. Dung Pam Rwang with his wife, noted that “as believers we have goal to which we are aiming at achieving.”

They expressed the joy and rest in mind they are encountering in Ministry and prayed God to give them a large heart which will gear him towards impressing the will of God.

Rev. Dung thanked all those that took out their time to come to support him and family and prayed for their safe journey back to their various destinations.

He also thanked members of the Church for all their support given to him on Sunday and in the past when he was there in Twanchik and aurged the members to “continue with the spirit of the Macedonian Church.”

Village Ruler of Twanchik Community, Da. Chollom Yakubu, also complimented and experessed his wishes and delight for the spiritual and significant contributions he injected in the Community during his years of service and wish him a fruitful service in his new station.

The service had in attendance representatives from St. Moses Catholic Church, ECWA Twanchik, COCIN ring road, COCIN Hwolshe.
