Professor Mainasara Yakubu Kurfi
Following the recent elevation of Dr. Mainasara Yakubu Kurfi of the Department of Mass Communication, Bayero University, Kano, to the rank of a Professor of Mass Communication by the Senate of the University, a committee of friends is set to celebrate him.
Notice and invitation to the August ceremony, personally posted on his Facebook account on Sunday, showed that the committee of friends has concluded arrangements to celebrate one of their own, Professor Mainasara Yakubu Kurfi.
The notice indicates that the celebration, which will feature, “Award Presentation for the promotion of their friend,” will take place at Kurfi Model Primary School in Kurfi Local Government Area of Katsina State, North West Nigeria.
The “D” day is slated for Sunday 31st December, 2023 by 10.00 a.m. prompt.
