Construction of roads, bridges and houses in Bayelsa State, South-South Nigeria, is capital intensive that necessitste several stages of expenditure before laying foundation stone.

Nigerian Kicker observed that the topography of Bayelsa state makes construction of roads and houses very difficult with huge financial commitment.

The terrain, wetlands and flooding pose challenges to infrastructure development making some houses only accessible by the use of Canoes by the locals.

Projects inspected by the Media team include those completed and the ones that are ongoing.
