Council Of Arab Media Ministers Elects Saudi Arabia As President

Report from Rabat, the capital of Morocco says, Saudi Arabia has been elected President of the Executive Office of the Council of Arab Media Ministers at its 18th session.

This vote came during the opening session of the 53rd session of the Council of Arab Information Ministers, held on Wednesday in Rabat, Morocco.

Saudi Press Agency reports that Saudi Arabia Minister of Media, Salman Al-Dosari headed the Kingdom’s delegation.

The participants of the meeting discussed several topics on its agenda, mainly developing joint Arab media action, cooperation aspects and ways to benefit from media expertise, keeping pace with the latest technological changes and the Arab media strategy to combat terrorism.

The executive office manages the work and preparatory meetings of the Council of Arab Information Ministers, examines the recommendations of the Permanent Committee for Arab Media and drafts decisions proposed at the meeting of the Council of Arab Information Ministers. — SPA
