The Author

Paul Bako John, gave the advice in his maiden 70-page Book titled, “Don’t Quit” which is billed to be launched on the 31st of August, 2025 at Bishop Hall, Crest Hotel, Jos, the Plateau State capital, North Central Nigeria.

Disclosing this to Nigerian Kicker in Jos, John, who is an indigene of Boi community in Bauch State and resident in Jos said, the result of resilience motivated him to write the Book to encourage people, especially the youths, to uphold their dreams and submit to the will of God who grants success to men.

A Diploma graduate of Television Journalism from the prestigious NTA Television College, Jos, the Author particularly admonished anyone with vision “to choose to continue when everything says stop!”

According to him, “driven by a deep desire to serve humanity especially orphans and the underprivileged” John says, he ventured into Laundry business with passion and attempted Guinness World Records by ironing 2,000 T-shirts.

He wrote on page two of the Book: “When the night grows cold and the path feels long, when the silence is louder than your victory song, remember your why, hold tight to your flame. The world may forget, but you are not in this for fame.”

In his acknowledgement page, he wrote, among others: “To my school NTA Television College, Jos, thank you for shaping my capacity, stretching my creativity and giving me the tools to communicate this story well. I stand today as a product of the platform you gave me.”

Speaking to the Editor-in-Chief of Nigerian Kicker Online, Alhaji Abdulkadir Mohammed, who incidentally is one of his Lecturers at NTA Television College, Jos, Paul Bako John emphasized that, “every generation needs voices that rise, not for applause, but for assignment. Men and women whose stories are not crafted for the stage, but carved in the secret place of struggle, surrender and sacred obedience.”
