Ebonyi State Governor, David Umahih, has asked President-elect, Bola Tinubu, to include Nyesom Wike, Governor of Rivers State in his Administration.
The Ebonyi State Governor gave the advice on Monday at an event hosted by Wike in Obio-Akpor LGA of Rivers State.
He said, although Wike is a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), “he, Wike, has a lot to offer to Tinubu who contested the Presidential Election under platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Umahi said there is no way the story of the 2023 General Election can be told without mentioning Wike.
“I thank God Almighty who had enacted that Asiwaju(Tinubu) and (Kashim) Shettima will win.
“Look at the process of God, Tinubu was courageous and Shettima. God, directly and indirectly, made Governor Wike very much available, and there is no way you can conclude about the success of the election without mentioning Governor Wike.
“We will be asking Asiwaju and Shettima to please bring Governor Wike to the core Administration of the Federal Government.
“He has a lot to offer for the unity of the country.
“It is not about party now; it is about the unity of the country; it is how to move this country forward and reunite our people,” the Ebonyi State Governor said.
Umahi also said, any Politician who hopes to win in Rivers state without Wike is joking.
“Our people want performance, if you have performed as a Governor, the people will stand with you,” he added.
