Jigawa FRSC Sector Commander, Aishat Sa’adu
Jigawa State Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Corp has deployed four hundred and twenty personnel both Regular and Special Marshals to ensure a hitch free Sallah period.
Addressing a News Conference in Dutse, the Jigawa State capital, the Sector Commander, Aishat Sa’adu says, ten patrol vehicles, four ambulances and a tow truck have also been deployed for a hitch free Sallah festivities.
The Sector Commander appealed to the motoring public especially commuters to know that the FRSC cannot achieve a crash free celebration unless they play their part by checkmating the excesses of these drivers.
Sector Commander Aishat Sa’adu said whenever the drivers drive recklessly, it is the right of the commuters to speak up and report such drivers to FRSC Operatives.
She gave an assurance that the FRSC in Jigawa State will work with vigour towards entrenching sanity on the roads.
The Sector Commander said strategies are already in place to achieve reduction in road traffic crashes, fatalities and injuries among others in the state.
