Kano State Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency, in collaboration with the United Nations Children Fund, have distributed materials to eight Local Governments in Kano as part of preventive measure against Cholera/Corona Virus in the area.
Addressing 50 beneficiaries of the support in Tofa Local Government Area, Chairman of the Council, Alhaji Nafi’u Haruna Garba Yarimawa, said the present administration of Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, was determined to ensure the welfare of the people in the state.
Yarimawa expressed appreciation to the United Nations Children Education Fund and RUWASA for their support and concern towards achieving the state Government objective.
He said he would continue to support Non-Governmental Organizations and Government Agencies in discharging their activities for the development of Tofa Local Government.
Yarimawa, advised the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the items.
He also commended Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje’s effort in the area of Security, Employment Opportunities, Agriculture, Science and Technology, Innovation and Investment in boosting the economy of the state.
