As Muslim Faithfuls perform Eid-el-Kabir prayers tomorrow, Chief Imam of Tarauni local Government Area of Kano State, Sheikh Muhammad Fatihu Muhammad Rabiu has advised them to embrace God for their security.
Our correspondent reports that the Imam gave the advice while delivering sermon on Friday in Kano preparatory for Eid-el-Kabir celebrations.
Sheikh Rabiu noted that the security situation in the country has deteriorated to the point of calling on the Almighty God to intervene.
“Where there is no help from man, God is the answer,” he said.
The Cleric, who spoke on the importance of the last 10 days of the Islamic month of Dhul-Hijjah, urged believers (Mumin) to use the period engage in holy activities, particularly obey the recommended fasting on Friday.
Sheikh Rabiu also re-echoed the importance of love in the family adding that God is interested in unity and strong bond of the family.
While praying for peace and stability of the country, Imam Rabiu also called on Nigerians to continue to pray for the nation.
