Federal University, Dutse, (FUD) in Jigawa State, North West Nigeria, has approved the promotion of 14 academic staff to the rank of Professors while 38 academic staff were promoted to Readers.
The approval was given at the 4th Governing Council of the university under the Chairmanship of Prof. Shuaibu Oba Abdulraheem at it’s inaugural meeting held on the 25th of July,2024, according to SolaceBase.
A statement issued by the university Spokesman, Malam Abdullahi Bello, on Friday said the new Professors are Prof. Ehien Alfred, Prof. Muhammad Musa Bako, Prof. Ilu Kasuwa Jahun, Prof. Jibo Abdullahi Umar, Prof. Muhammad Yayo Karage, Prof. Aminu Muhammad Fagge, Prof. Musa Yusuf Tambai, Prof. Ado Ali Siro, Prof. Mikail Umar Isyaku, Prof. Sanusi Saad Ahmad, Prof.Abubakar Adamu Magaji, Prof.Bilyaminu Yusuf Hanga, Prof. Felix Y.Eguda and Prof. Yamuna Kani.
According to the statement, the Vice-Chancellor, Federal University Dutse, Professor Abdulkarim Sabo Mohammed Congratulates all the Academic staff and prayed Allah to continue to guide and protect them.
He called on them to rededicate themselves to the service of the university.
