The authorities of the University of Calabar has alerted the general public that it has discovered that there are currently Forty-Two thousand (42,000) unclaimed certificates of the institution in the various faculties and institutes.
A statement issued and signed by the Registrar of the University, Mr. Gabriel O. Egbe says some of the certificates date back to the 1980s.
The statement said the University Management was shocked about the abnormality and therefore directs that all those who have not collected their certificates after several years of graduation should do so immediately.
It warned that those who do not do so before the end of three months from the date of of this notice will have their names published and surcharged subsequently.
