Federal Government has declared free train rides for citizens from 24th of December, 2021 to the 4th of January, 2022.
Managing Director, Nigeria Railway Corporation (NRC), Mr. Fidet Okhiria disclosed this to News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Friday in Abuja.
“The decision was made in collaboration with the Ministry of Transportation to ease movement of citizens during the yuletide as well as ease their cost of transportation to enable them enjoy the festive period,” he said.
He advised passengers to observe and obey Covid-19 rules.
