Fuel Tanker Explosion Kills 30 Persons In Niger State

Report from Niger State, North Central Nigeria says, no fewer than thirty persons have been reportedly killed in a fuel tanker explosion along Agaie-Bida road in the State on Sunday morning.

According to Daily Post,  the tanker reportedly collided with a trailer loaded with cattle heading towards Lagos State from Wudil, Kano State.

Director General of Niger State Emergency Management Agency, NSEMA, Abdullahi Arah, who confirmed the incident, said 30 bodies had been recovered from the scene.

Arah added that his team were still at the scene of the incident, conducting search and response operations as there were more bodies trapped inside the trucks.
