Village Head of Maigari, in Rimin Gado Local Government Area of Kano State, North West Nigeria, Alhaji Dahiru Abba, has been reportedly murdered by unidentified gunmen in the early hours of Sunday 5th February, 2023.
Permanent Secretary in the State Ministry of Justice, Alhaji Sanusi Abbas, who is also a family member to the deceased disclosed this in Rimin Gado town.
“Late Alhaji Dahiru Abba died after some unknown gunmen stormed his house in the early hours of Sunday, inflicted various degree of injuries on him and later shot him dead,” he said.
At the time of filing this report, his burial ceremony is being conducted at his residence in Maigari village.
Those in attendance include, Deputy Governortorial Candidate of APC, Murtala Sule Garo, former SSG Alhamdulillahi Suleiman Bichi, Algon chairman Alh. Baffa Takai, Alh.Garba Lawan Tukur, Dan Ruwatan Ringim, Comrade Auwalu Mudi Yakaisai Vice Chairman NLC Kano State Wing, and Inuwa Jamo Magashi Chairman Malam Jamo Family Forum.
The late Alh. Dahiru Abba Maigari was age 73 years.
