Report from Beirut, the capital of Lebanon says, Hezbollah, has named Naim Qassem as its new Secretary-General, the group’s media office said in a statement on Tuesday
This follows Israel’s killing of Hassan Nasrallah last month.
Hezbollah’s Senior Council said the decision was made in accordance with its process for selecting leadership.
Qassem is committed to the core principles of Hezbollah, the statement said. — CNN via SG
