Former Nigerian Head of State, General Yakubu Gowon has denied rumours making the rounds that he died on Monday.
His Personal Media Aide, Adeyeye E. Ajayi said in a statement on Monday night that the former military leader is not dead.
Ajayi, quoted Gowon as saying, “I am still around and well. I am not in a hurry”.
There has been rumour of Gowon’s death trending on all social media platforms.
