A 102-year-old Nigerian woman, Mrs. Nonye Josephine Ezeanyaeche, has challenged Nigerian youths to brace up to expectation and contest for the 2023 presidential race or she will make herself available to contest for the position.
Ezeanyaeche disclosed her intention when she paid a visit to the management of the Nigerian Television Authority, NTA, in Abuja.
“If the younger generation is not ready to take up the challenge of leading this country, then I am ready to join the race,” she said.
She, however, did not disclose under which party she intend to contest.
The centenarian, who is the founder of ‘Voice for Senior Citizens of Nigeria’ group and popularly known as Mama Africa is an indigene of Aguata, Anambra State, South East Nigeria.
‘Mama Africa’ has reportedly received several awards for her selfless works.
