International Press Institute (IPI), Nigeria Chapter has constituted a 7-member committee, to organize its 2025 International Press Institute (IPI) Nigeria Conference and Annual General Meeting (AGM).
General Secretary of the Institute, Ahmed Shekarau disclosed this in a statement explaining that the tasks of the committee for the 2-day event include determining suitable dates for the conference and the meeting in December, 2025.
The statement said “this should be before the 3rd week of the month, to choose an appropriate theme for the conference., choosing the guest speaker and other resource persons for the conference.”
“Other tasks include raising funds as well as making any other worthy propositions for the success of the conference and Annual General Meeting (AGM) to the executives.”
The committee comprises: Fidelis Mbah (Chair), and Linda Dooyum Kpum (Administrative Secretary of the Institute), who will serve in the Secretariat of the Committee, as well as Hajia Sani as member
Other members are, Yusuf Alli, Funke Egbemode, Oladotun Oladipo, Tobi Soniyi and Ahmed I. Shekarau.
