Report from Kano State, North West Nigeria says, an International Workshop on the management of Priapism has opened in Kano, the State Capital.
Our Correspondent reports that the Workshop is organized by the Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, United States in collaboration with the College of Health Sciences, Bayero University Kano, Nigeria.
About one hundred Doctors are taking part in the workshop.
A Consultant Surgeon and Urologist, Professor Sani Ali Aji of Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, Kano said, the training will impact on the participants the basic skills to address the problem of Priapism in men.
Professor Aji, therefore, called on the participants to strive to learn what they will be taught for the benefit of humanity.
He also thanked Professor Arthur L. Burnett of the Department of Urology, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Baltimore, U.S.A. for attending the conference.
Priapism is a urological problem affecting men’s private part.
