Jos Imam Expresses Concerns On Economic Hardship In Nigeria

Deputy Chief Imam of Fibre Jumaat Mosque, Jos, Plateau State, North Central Nigeria, Sheikh Auwal Danladi, has expressed concerns over the current economic difficulties facing the people in the country.

He particularly noted the pains of the common man at this point in time saying the poor has lost focus in the scheme of things due to hardship.

Sheikh Danladi made the observation on Friday in a sermon he delivered before leading congregation prayers.

“The situation is becoming more and more difficult for the people.

“Fuel hike giving rise to transportation fare is worrisome,” he said.

Imam Danladi, however, told the people that no situation is beyond God’s solution adding that they should lean on God and pray for His mercy.

Danladi also admonished the worshipers to remember the spiritual importance of the month in the new Islamic year.

He urged them to double their efforts in the worship of Allah and doing good always.
