A distinguished Nigerian Journalist and media Entrepreneur, Kadaria Ahmed, has joined One World Media as a Trustee.
Announcing her appointment on the Board of One World Media to members of International Press Institute Nigeria, Ahmed said she was delighted to be part of the Board which will enable her put to bear her wealth of experience in Journalism.

I am very pleased to announce that I have joined the board of One World Media as a trustee.
At a time of deepening fractures globally, the rise of misinformation and disinformation, credible journalism and authentic stories are tools that can be used to fight injustice, foster understanding, deepen community and promote our shared humanity.
This is the important work that One World Media has been involved for decades and is expanding and deepening.
I am excited at the opportunity I have been afforded to use my expertise, experience and network to contribute to this important work .
I hope I can count on all of you to support us, when I reach out to you,” she wrote.
Kadaria Ahmed is recognised for her work in accountability Journalism. She serves on the Nigerian Board of Trustees of the International Press Institute and has received grants from organisations such as the Ford Foundation and the MacArthur Foundation.
Meanwhile, One World Media has announced the appointment of Peter Horrocks, OBE as its new Chair. Peter, who has served in an interim capacity for the past 12 months, brings extensive experience in media and economic development.
He has played an instrumental role in shaping the organisation’s direction and will now lead its next steps towards strengthening ties with Journalists, filmmakers, and media organisations globally.
