Kano Civil Service Pledges Justice To All

Kano State Civil Service Commission says, it will do justice to all manner of disciplinary cases brought before it.

Chairman of the Commission, Dr. Umar Shehu Minjibir (Garkuwan Minjibir) gave the assurance when the management staff of office of the Auditor General (state) paid a courtesy visit to his office.

He said the Commission will not, in the course of taking any decision, derail from the provisions of the service rules.

The chairman  also informed them that the Commission subject all matters affecting workers under its jurisdiction to thorough check, processes and proper scrutiny before granting approval.

While thanking the Management for the visit, Dr. Umar Shehu said the Commission and Audit are partners in progress and therefore, called on them to draw the attention of the Commission on any oversight observed from the Commission action for remedy.

Earlier, in his remark, the Auditor General (state) Isma’ila Musa said they were at the Commission to congratulate him on his appointment which he said was due largely to his unblemished record.

A statement by the Director, Public Enlightenment of the Commission, Musa Garba, quoted the Auditor General as urging the Commission to always maintain its stance on decision taken especially concerning disciplinary cases believe to have been judiciously dispensed by it regardless of who is involved.
