Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has Approved the sum of Over N45bn for various Projects across the state.
The State Commissioner of Information and Home Affairs, Comrade Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya, disclosed this during a press briefing on the Outcome of the State Executive Council meeting on Friday.
Waiya said, the state Executive Council has Approved the sums of 905 million naira for the General Rehabilitation of Government Day Science College Kano while it Approved 397 million naira for the General Rehabilitation of Physical Structures at GSS Rimi, Sumaila Local Government.
The Commissioner added that the Governor also approved 1.4 billion naira for the General Rehabilitation of Government Technical College Kofar Nassarawa (GTC Kano) then 546 million naira for the General Renovation of Audu Bako College of Agriculture at Dambatta Local Government Area.

Comrade Waiya, maintaned that the state Executive council has approved 1.8 billion naira for the Renovation of Class rooms and provision of Furniture to basic Schools across the 44 Local Government Areas under Community Re-orientation Committees (CRC).
”We at state executive council meeting agreed that governor approved 349 million naira for the General Rehabilitation of Physical Structures at School for Arabic Studies (S.A.S) Municipal Local Government, Kano and approved about 4 billion naira for the re-award of contract for the reconstruction of Guda Abdullahi Road and additional links within Farm Centre in Tarauni Local Government Area.
Also approved is 3.5 billion naira for the reconstruction of Justice Dahiru Mustapha Road and additional links Road located within Farm Centre, Tarauni Local Government Area.
The state executive councils also Approved the following Projects:
Approved 4.3 billion naira for the Upward review of rates for the completion of dualization of Kofar Dawanau-Dandinshe-Kwanar Madugu Road (Phase II).
Approved 118 million naira for the Procurement of Medical Equipment for Labour Room, Laboratory and Theatre Units of Imam Wali General Hospital.
Approved 2.3 billion naira for the construction of Rehabilitation Centre at Dorayi Psychiatric Hospital.
Approved 247 million naira for the upgrading of Unguwar Dabai Primary Health Centre, Gwale Local Government Area to Secondary Health Facility.
Approved 796 million naira for the Procurement of 455 Motorcycles in respect of Kano State Neighbourhood Watch officers.
Approved 412 million naira for the Supply and Installation of Floodlight scoreboard and Public Address system at Sani Abacha Stadium Kofar Mata. Kano.
Approved 135 million naira for the Installation of Solar Street lights at Sani Abacha Stadium.
Approved 288 million naira for the general renovation of Kano Central Mosque.
Approved 120 million naira for Fumigation activities in Various Communities in Kano State.
