Kano State Government says it will continue Foreign Scholarships to Kano State indigenes.
It also said it will continue schools feeding of pupils in Primary Schools and the provision of free educational support materials.
The State Governor, Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf, reaffirmed this on Friday during Hawan Kekasa in Karaye Emirate Council.
A statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker, Kano State House of Assembly, Uba Abdullahi said the Speaker Jibrin Ismail Falgore, represented the Governor at the occasion.
“The Governor has promised free Anti-natal and post natal services to pregnant and nursing mothers from conception to delivery and child health care in addition to Improving Agriculture for food security and food sufficiency,” Falgore quoted the Governor as saying.
He called on the People of the State to rally round the incumbent Administration and pray for peaceful coexistence in the State.
The Emir of Karaye, Dr Ibrahim Abubakar II thanked Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf and the Speaker, Jibril Ismail Falgore for attending the Hawan Kekasa.
The Monarch appealed to the people in the Emirate to be extra vigilante and report any suspicious faces to Security Agents and the nearby District Head offices for immediate actions.
