Director-General and Spokesman for Kano State Governor, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, has immortalised his late son, Sadiq Modibbo Bature.
Our Correspondent reports that Tofa has laid a foundaion stone for the establishment of a Quranic centre of learning to immortalise his late son, Sadiq Modibbo.
According to our Correspondent, “the Centre is named Sadiq Modibbo Memorial Quranic Centre and will consist several departments where children will stay & learn the art of both memorising & reciting the Gloriols book adquately.”

“The gesture is like charitable act & endowment for my late son, Sadiq Modibbo who died in India a week ago.
“When completed, the centre will, apart from studying the Quran, also teach other subjects like Fiqh, Hadeeth and Arabic grammar,” Tofa explained.
Offering prayers before the commencenent of the ceremony, Hisbah Commander in Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area, Mallam Hadi Yahaya praised the DG for the charitable act descring it as one of the best religious acts needed to be accomplished by those who can afford it financially.
He then prayed for the soul of Sadiq Modibbo asking Allah to cause him to be among the dwellers of Jannatil Firdaus.
Meanwhile, the Director General received some members of Triumph management who represented the Ag MD, Muhd Hamisu Abdullahi, in his residence at Dawakin on Thursday to console with him over the loss of his son, Sadiq Modibbo.
The members are; Aliyu Umar, Umoru Ibrahim, Gali Mujtaba Kassim & Usman Gwadabe who was recently posted as chief Information officer, government house, Kano.
Responding, DG Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, thanked the Triumph management for the brotherly visit expressing the hope that the Almighty Allah will reward them in abudance for the religious act accomplished.
