Kano Pillars football club has defeated the Abia Warriors by a lone goal.
The match was played this Saturday 15th February at the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kofar Mata, Kano, North West Nigeria.
The goal was scored by Mustapha Umar in the 42nd minute of the first half.
Our Correspondent who monitored the match reports that all efforts made by either Pillars to increase the tally and the Abia Warriors to equalize were denied by the defence of the two teams.
With this victory, Kano Pillars now has 35 points and may move to the eighth position on the NPFL table.
