Kano state Government is working on modalities to embark on a re-training of Media practitioners in the state with a view to boosting their moral as well as preparing them to live up to standard.
A statement by the Director, Public Enlightenment of the Ministry, Ismail Garba Gwammaja says, Kano State Commissioner for Information and Internal affairs, Baba Halilu Dantiye mni, disclosed this during an interactive session with the Directors of public Enlightenment under the state government ministries.
He enjoined Directors of public Enlightenment of various ministries, Department’s and Agencies to be up and doing in the discharge of their duties.
“The purpose of this meeting is to ginger up the directors and commend them for their resilience and dedication towards propagating government policies and programmes at their various stations.
“Kano State government under the able leadership of governor Abba Kabir Yusuf is working modalities to embark on a training of Media practitioners in the state with a view to boosting their moral as well as prepare them to stand the test of time.
“The present administration is committed and determine to improve the living Standard of workers at all levels with a view to making them more effective and productive in discharging their duties,” he said.
Director Information of the ministry, Alh Inuwa Idris Yakasai said, the meeting was a family affairs and was an avenue also to explore and express their minds for a better working synergy.
